Rodney Koch

Rodney D. Koch was born and raised in the San Joaquin Valley of California. Growing up in the 1970s and '80s, much time was spent outdoors hunting, fishing and playing baseball. Being an avid sci-fi fan, much indoor time was spent watching old episodes of The Twilight Zone as well as reading and writing.

In his first published effort, Rodney tells us a story of the bear family and how they deal with some of life's ups and downs and the importance of being together.

Bruno and Huno

By Rodney Koch

"This great story conveys a powerful life lesson about making memories and appreciating those close to you.  The bear brothers Bruno and Huno bring this important "fact of life" to young readers in an entertaining, yet thoughtful way. The excellent illustrations soften the overall message while allowing the story itself to be told in a straightforward way. Well done!" - Phil Mills, Jr., author of Mud Between My Toes, Scooter: The Cow Dog and Where a Good Wind Blows
